I understand people are trying to learn the language to fluency, and I don't begrudge you from that, but I get a little irritated when people post extremely regional slang...like, man, I'm a native speaker and even I don't know some of the stuff people say! Why can't you just let things "float on by", to use a regional expression I do not use ever?

I’m not 100% sure, but “right” is often used to mean “very” and “tight” can be a regionalism meaning “irritated.”
So, “right tight” would mean “very irritated.”

I would interpret the "right" in this context as meaning "very" or "quite." As far as what tight means, I'm not exactly sure, maybe tight muscles.

Never heard this before in my life, its probably some very regional expression for being upset. Not at all common in spoken english where I'm from or anywhere I've been.
